Breadboy and his loveable Band of Bread Brothers have returned to the blog! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love this family with all of my heart and soul. Every year the boys run to the car to greet me when I arrive, usually holding new things that they want to show me, and definitely shouting over each other new things that they want to tell me. This year the second oldest, who is studying robotics, insisted on wiring together his little robot so that I could see it move around the floor on its little programmed path “because she only comes once a year!” The oldest showed off a quilt that he’s making. And all 5 boys (well, kinda… but not so much the baby, who was present but I’m not sure how much of a hand he actually had in the construction) showed off their magnificent cardboard and popsicle stick airport they’re building, complete with water bottle refill station (!), security gates (!), escalators (!), gate signs (!), runway (!), and food court (!). They’re working on restrooms and seats, don’t worry. They flew in a plane while I was there and it landed just fine, thank you. These kids are so cute and smart that it hurts my heart and it’s a joy every year to photograph their magnificent selves.
