Meet Sasha and Robert! Yes, like Sasha and Bob, even though Robert hasn’t gotten to the point where he’s met Bob yet in the Walking Dead (we told him he needs to catch up and keep going). They have a really cute three-year-old named Cooper who is very enthusiastic, and a very calm and level-headed 5-month-old named Everly. Sasha warned us that Cooper is kind of a ham and would work right away on winning us over, which he did. We were unpacking our gear from the car when he started frantically waving at us from the window of the house.

Once inside, we were immediately bombarded with dogs (Cobie – Terrier, cute. Ollie – Chow mix, cute.) and I went right to work petting them because I can’t resist anything fluffy. Cooper immediately broke us up so that he could show us his room and ask us to read books to him. Sasha warned me that he might try to lock us in his room and keep us there forever, so we were able to outsmart him and stood just outside the doorway… just in case. Later we all woke up Everly and immediately started taking her picture, and while this might be a recipe for disaster for anyone over the age of 12 with any degree of body awareness, it works just fine on babies.

We made cookies! We scootered! We played games! Bug the Cat made an appearance and let me pet him too! It was a successful day all around with no tears except from Everly who insists on standing in an upright position at all times. Look at our success!

At Home w/ Tiffany+Neal.

Hello, 2016! We’re happy you’re here joining us in another year of photos. :) This year started off with wonderful, familiar faces to us. We photographed Tiffany and Neal’s engagement session way back in 2011. Since then, Tiffany and I have kept in touch over the years as she’s started her own wedding planning business. Then they had a baby! And then we happened to run into them at the Pixies/Robert Plant show! And they told us that they wanted family photos with their little girl and we happily obliged. We took some photos of just the three of them before their families would be joining them at their house for a Christening ceremony with the ever-wonderful Rev. Barbara Lodge. :) Noodle the Cat and Etta the Dog were also present, as well as some furniture that I may or may not have petted to absorb the good design vibes (Tiffany used to work for Herman Miller). And if I have the opportunity to sit a baby in a genuine Eames Lounge Chair, well, I’m gonna do it.

CSP Class of 2015.

We are so, so grateful for all of our wonderful clients in 2015. The best part of this job is meeting so many new people, and we had some of the best this year. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our small business and our lives. This year we photographed two Rachels, two Carolines, two Matthews, three Saras (some with an h, some without), four Jessicas, three Jennifers, three Johns, two Tims, two Emilys, three Abbys, two Michelles (one with one L, one with two), two Alexes, two Erins, two Erics, and a lot of other people who didn’t have a name twin. We love you all, and cannot wait to meet more of you in 2016. :) Looking forward to going into our 8th year of business. Congratulations to the CSP Class of 2015!
