to celebrate a recently won award (more on that later) and the holiday with the most chocolate hearts, we’re having a valentine wedding special until march 14, 2010!

there are always a lot of engagements around this time of year, so what better way to say “congratulations” than 10% off all our wedding packages? we can’t think of one. our packages range from $1800-$2700 and are all full-day inclusive packages with no overage fees. any weddings booked before 3/14/2010 will be eligible for the 10% discount. please visit our pricing page for more details.

raleigh wedding photographer: taryn+keith

taryn and keith were married on december 19th, 2009 in a beautiful ceremony in raleigh, nc. despite the unusually frigid temperatures, snow, and freezing rain, taryn and keith maintained a great sense of humor and sunny disposition despite the weather. the bridal party even braved the elements in heels and strapless gowns to take a few photographs outside the reception. their party had one of the longest-lasting cake fights i’ve ever seen and the only all-marine singing tribute to taylor swift. it was pretty amazing.

raleigh portrait photographer: baby mackenzie!

hey!

hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! we had a great time home in the ‘burgh, driving in snow, snow tubing, and scraping ice off our cars in the -8 degree windchill. :) we’ve been scrambling to get our lives back together and in order since we’ve gotten back…and this week we’re getting on the right track. :) new pricing for the new year, new packages, and a very busy schedule await us this year and we’re pumped! but now it’s time to play catch up.

shortly before the holidays my friend jennifer received the lovely gift of a beautiful niece! mackenzie was born november 23, 2009 at 6lbs and 15oz and is as healthy and amazing as can be. she’s really an adorable baby girl who is incredibly happy and content. jennifer bought her sister a session with me for christmas and i got to meet the lovely mom danielle and her gorgeous newborn! we all had a great time catching up with each other, admiring baby mackenzie, and enjoying the company of max…the greatest weiner dog ever.
