Below is a compilation of some of the embarrassing pictures we’ve taken of each other at weddings this year. There are more. A lot more. These are probably the least embarrassing, and they’re still pretty bad. But you guys enjoyed them last year, so we figured we’d put our necks on the chopping block again this year.

These were all taken at weddings or shoots (the ones where we look half decent were taken at weddings – the disheveled look we develop over several hours is not intentional). All beverages being consumed are non-alocholic, although it may appear that we’re acting otherwise in a few of these pictures. You’ll find that Geoff likes to eat and makes a serious face most of the time when you point a camera at him. You’ll find that I’m popular with the flower girl crowd and can’t make a decision about the length of my hair.

The CSP Class of 2012.

Ohhh, the class of 2012! You hold a special place in our hearts. You took us on boats. In trucks on the beach. To vineyards overlooking mountains. To the heart of New Jersey. In bathtubs. In baseball stadiums. Tied up on the traintracks. In airports. You made us gluten free cakes and cupcakes. You wrote us thank you notes. You laughed at our cheesy jokes without making fun of us… too much.

This year we rebranded ourselves as a husband and wife wedding photography team and officially took on the responsibility of servicing both Raleigh, NC and Pittsburgh, PA. We stayed in a lot of hotels. We took a lot of road trips. We hugged a lot of your grandmas. We wore a lot of fake mustaches.

Here’s to you, Class of 2012! May you all go on to do great things… and may many of you kinda flunk and return to us in some way this year and many more. ;)

Lauren+Nick In The Airport

Lauren and Nick travel a lot. They fly almost every weekend either to go somewhere together or to meet up some place in between. Nick lives in Georgia and Lauren is in North Carolina even though Nick is originally from Connecticut and Lauren is originally from Michigan and then Kansas and then Indiana and then Georgia and then France and then Ohio and then Orlando. Their first “date” was to Argentina. Well, they went there as friends, and came back as a couple. So yeah, they travel a lot. I think you got that part by now.

So what better place to do engagement photos than the airport? Thanks to RDU for giving us permission to do this… we exchanged a few e-mails and met up with the security guards there who offered to photobomb our pictures. Very nice guys. Lauren and Nick spent the time running around the entrance to Terminal 2 and the the parking garage. We were all slightly nervous that we’d be constantly stared at, but everyone was too busy trying to actually get somewhere, so we were left pretty much alone to be goofy, talk about Pearl Jam, and watch as Lauren tried to eat Nick’s face in almost every picture (non-face-eating pictures are below).

**And folks, this is our last official shoot (and hence blog post) of 2012!! What! I’ll be writing a Best of 2012 blog post in early January as well as an Outtakes of 2012 blog post, but until then, this is going to have to tide you over. ;) We wish all of our AMAZING clients and friends a very happy holiday and safe holiday season and New Year! Between blog posts, you can catch up on our rants and occasional meaningless insights on our Facebook Page!**
